Orientations for submit proposals

June 30, 2023 – due date to submit the completed work
Audience
Proposers of different areas of knowledge within any age, gender, ethnicity, territory, and social background. The organizing commission – composed of Alana Institute and Sesc SP technicians – included questions that will allow them to identify the proposers’ profiles.
Themes
Works must be related to one or more of the following themes:
- Outdoor learning: researches, experiences, and practices about how to use open spaces, natural elements, and cultural references that are connected to nature in learning processes.
- Outdoor play: researches, experiences, and practices that favor outdoor play during childhood and adolescence in formal and informal educational spaces.
- Greening spaces for children and youth: experiences and apprenticeship about naturalizing spaces for children and youth (daycare, schools, libraries, playgrounds, parks, health clinics, among others).
- Impact based on evidence: experiences, public policies, and programs that have produced impact measured from evidence collected on the fields of physical and mental health and the whole development of children and youth.
Format
Work presentation will be in poster format and exhibited in digital panels during the encounter, and will also be available through this page after the Conference. There won’t be any oral presentations.
How to sign up
Those interested shall fill out the following form with basic information about their work from March 28 to April 16, 2023.
Each proposition may have up to 6 authors, and at least one person must commit to being present at the conference.
Selection criteria
A commission of representatives by Alana Institute and Sesc will select the works aiming to compose a collection of experiences and initiatives that dialogue with the macro themes and present characteristics of different natures.
Stages

The main author of the selected propositions will be notified via email from May 30, 2023, and will receive orientations on how to format the work into poster layout, which the organizational team will provide.

Applicants must send the formatted work in Portuguese, Spanish, or English until June 30, 2023.
Costs
Work submission is free. The main author of each selected work will be exempted from the inscription fee.
Expenses related to the preparation and formatting of the work, transportation, and accommodation are not included and are the proponents’ responsibility.
